At 25 years of age, Jonny Suporn (aka "Jonny Hockey") has more than 6 years of personal training experience in the game of ice hockey. Growing up in Trumbull, CT, Jonny has been playing the game for over 15 years. He started his youth hockey career in the Greater Bridgeport, CT (CHC) area and ended up playing Tier 1 AAA youth hockey for the Mid-Fairfield Blues out of Stamford, CT (AYHL). His 1997 Bantam Major team went on to compete in the National Championship in Buffalo, NY. Jonny was then recruited to play Division 1 High School Hockey for Notre Dame of Fairfield Catholic High School in Fairfield, CT (CIAC). Jonny was in the starting line-up in just his sophomore year at NDF. He then served as Captain in his Junior and Senior years. After graduating high school, Jonny had multiple offers to push off school and play junior hockey for either the Connecticut Oilers (EHL) or the Cape Cod Whalers. Instead, Jonny and his family made the decision to focus on his education and pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College. Jonny played Club Hockey for Merrimack in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) for 2 years before dedicating his time to teach private lessons as a skills coach in addition to his school work. Jonny has been able to maintain his love for the game in the most fulfilling way possible: By helping young players take their game to the next level.
