Game Type: 3 on 3 (non-contact)

Game Length: (2) 20-minute halves = 40 minutes running time with a 5-minute intermission at half. 

Changes: Every minute *buzzer will sound to initiate changes* 

Scoring: Garbage bins will be used with different scoring targets. See the pictures below. 

Age Divisions: Grouped by birth years: 2014s & 2015s, 2013s & 2012s, 2011s & 2010s, 2009s & 2008s, 2007s & 2006s. Any player can play up in older divisions but no one is allowed to play down. 

Players Per Team: Anywhere from 5-9 players per team. Depends on how much ice time you want the players to get.

Q: What level is this for? 

A: All levels are welcomed. There will be different divisions according to age and skill level.

Q: How many kids per team? 

A: Since it is 3 on 3, we recommend teams of about 5-9 players. It all depends on how much ice time you want each kid to get per game. 

Q: How long are the games and how do the players change? 

A: Each game will consist of (2) 25-minute halves with running time. Changes will be made at every minute and on the fly. 

Q: Are there goalies? 

A: No, there will be custom nets made out of trash barrels that have different spots to score on for different points. 

Q: Why should my son or daughter play? 

A: Players will benefit immensely from the small-area, fast-paced nature of each game. They will touch the puck more, make quick decisions, and compete because it is a real game. 

Q: Can I just drop-in or do I need to field a team? 

A: Drop-ins are welcomed and will be placed on a team according to age and skill level.
